COVID-19 Customer Statement – A message to our Customers
The safety of our customers, employees and families remains at the forefront of everything we do. As (COVID-19) continues to evolve and spread globally, we as a company are monitoring the situation closely and will periodically update company guidance based on current government and Public Health Wales recommendations.
We would like to provide an update for our customers on how our procedures have evolved to incorporate increased levels of infection control to help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 and to provide peace of mind to anyone who needs an electrician to enter their property.
CUSTOMER SAFETY: WHAT ARE WE DOING?
The health & safety of our team, partners and customers is paramount. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our customers and workforce, we are conducting a simple screening questionnaire which we will discuss via telephone prior to your scheduled appointment with us.
Guidance has been issued to our team on precautions to be taken before, during, and after a visit to a customer’s property. This guidance covers the following areas:
- Avoiding close working
- Frequent Hand washing
- Frequent Hand sanitizing
- Disinfecting materials
- Disinfecting tools & equipment
Rest assured that our engineers are keeping equipment, materials and hands sanitized and reducing contact to a minimum while they are at your property. All tools, materials or equipment will be disinfected prior to being brought into your property. The engineer will disinfect any areas where they have been working within your property upon completion of the works.
All of our engineers have been equipped with all necessary PPE and will dispose of their own PPE on exiting your property.
We are also kindly asking our customers to follow the below guidelines where possible:
- Open windows within the property to increase ventilation
- Open all internal doors for access routes
- Customers to maintain a social distance from operatives. Discussions to be undertaken outdoors as far as is reasonably practical.
- Masks to be worn indoors if within close proximity/same room as an engineer.
We have also developed a remote quotation and call out system via FaceTime to minimise interaction as much as possible. If you are interested in this service, please contact us on 07495 005222.
Many thanks and stay safe,
The Multi-Elec Services team.
